A…

“What I meant to say is, are you mentally unstable? or… no that’s not right…” I think a bit harder on the right words and reach for my drink. The girl puts  her hand over my cup, and I feel a bit irritated. Then I realize she’s clutching her stomach and collapsing to the ground.

“Goodness, were you alergic to something?” I pull out my screwdriver and scan her, Cyanide poisoning. I scan the drink. Poisoned.

I stand up and hold my arms out high, shouting to everyone in the room. All of whom are staring at us. “Someone call the doctor, This woman has been poisoned!” I look around the room at all the staring people. “Well someone!” I spy a waiter “You! NOW!”

I watch him run towards a call centre turn back to the girl.

“Come on now, I’d really like it if you don’t die on me just yet. I just met you and you’re really, really interesting.” I kneel down next to her and keep monitoring her vitals.

I scramble up even though I feel like my insides are burning. He thinks I’m crazy! Mad?! Wow. I’m not sure if I like him. I ignore his cries for me as I run in the direction of the Shadow Man. I don’t like being poisoned without introductions. I manage to make it to where the TARDIS is before collapsing.

“Ow…” I growl as I see a shadow of a man disappear by teleport. I can feel the dark closing in… my body shutting down… I pass out.

I’m surprised to see her get up and start running, even though I shouldn’t be. Her ability to bend back the lever in the TARDIS proved that she was stronger then she looked. But never the less, it took me a moment to start chasing after her.

“Where do you think you’re going!” I shouted like I hadn’t shouted since Amy and Rory and River. It felt right.

It took about five minutes of chasing before we reached the TARDIS. By that point I was so out of breath I barely noticed the distortion in the air. I quickly scanned it, but besides some strange engery readings I couldn’t make out what it was.

I came to the girls side again. and checked her vitals again.

“What was that all about?” I asked. Thinking that if I could get her into the TARDIS I could get rid of the poison most likely.

In my mind I sit and sigh. I hate it when I pass out. At least it gives me time to think. I can feel my body growing weaker and my heart beats slowing. Two hearts. Two normal hearts. The poison is effecting them badly. I can faintly hear the beat of a third. One that’s there but it’s not there. Cyanide poisoning isn’t that bad. Easy for me to get rid of. Well, it would be, if I were in good condition. Unfortunately, the crash, the walking, the stress and my injuries are preventing me from doing so. I can only wait and hope this Doctor is able to help.

Ugh. I don’t like it when people have to help me. I feel like I’m too much of a burden to them. I hate it. I can feel myself being lifted. Is he picking me up? Where is he taking me?

I lose sense of everything happening on the outside. This isn’t good. My body is shutting down completely. No… no I don’t like the dark… no… I feel like I can’t breathe. My hearts slow even more. I’m dying.

Help.

I snap my fingers to open the TARDIS doors. I might have been amused by the act, I don’t use it to often, but right now this girl need far to much help.

I rushed into the control room and set her into the chair. reaching up and grabbing hold of the medical unit next to the chameleon circuits. Pulling it down and strapping a few syringe units to her arm and neck, their tubes trailing up to the ceiling.

“Alright baby, I need a full scan and the best possible antidote for her! herbal or medical!” I started tweaking at the monitor settings, bringing up a full body scan and a vitals monitor. heart beats, brain waves, blood pressure, the works. And an algorithm started running through possible antidotes and running them through simulations based on what had been recorded of the girls physeology so far.

“Come on, Come on, COME ON!!” As I shouted a figited the sonic screwdriver on and off and on. then the TARDIS started giving me options. I chose the fastest one, and injection of a fluid designed attract the poison and bind with it. If this could make it through her body in time it could render the poison harmless, If being the operative word.

“You, are going to be just fine.” I told her sternly, hoping that I was right. Hoping SO hard.

I can feel myself coming back. Oh good. He managed to help. The medicine courses through me and I can’t help but feel extremely uncomfortable by it. I am extremely sensitive and that medicine feels weird. It’s uncomfortable. It flows through my body and binds with the poison. I fidget. I want it out of me. But I’ll have to wait until I’ve rested before I can do anything about it.

A few minutes pass and the girl responds well to the medicine. Color has come back to her cheeks. She’s still grimacing though and unconscious.

Hours later, the girl is up. She’s sitting in the jumpseat, now dressed in a man’s dress shirt and a pair of pajama shorts. The Doctor is asleep in a cot beside her. She’s sewing her dress, the needle and thread she found in the trunk where she got the dress from. She’s quiet so as not to wake him.
